What is Cranial Osteopathy?

Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and gentle type of osteopathic treatment which focuses on the regular, rhythmic movements of all body tissues especially the cranial bones and spinal column. What to expect?

Cranial Osteopaths are trained to gently assess physical or emotional stresses of body tissues that disrupt the normal cranial rhythm. During the treatment, the practitioner applies very light pressure on the skull and the base of the spine to compare whether a person is in an optimum state of health or whether there is something preventing healthy movement of tissues. The consultation does not differ from the normal Osteopathic consultation.
