As the David Lloyd Club Gym remains closed, Osteopaths Rob Hill, Chris Tyler and James Burrells have been working from our new Countryside Clinic site based approximately 20 minutes north of Stevenage, not far from the A1(M) in the village of Gamlingay. At this location, we are able to establish the safeguards necessary to protect both you and our Osteopaths. Feedback has been consistently fantastic. Patients love the clinic and say that not only are they are extremely grateful to be seen, but that they do not mind that we are wearing gloves and other PPE, and that they are extremely reassured by the extensive measures that we have in place to keep everyone SAFE and WELL.
Chris Tyler is available on Monday and Friday afternoon/evening
Rob Hill is available on Tuesday all day and Thursday afternoon/evening
James Burrells is available on Wednesday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning
Hannah Walder is available Tuesday evening & Wednesday morning
We are adhering strictly to the advice of Public Health England and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE)
We are implementing the following measures to keep everyone safe here at our Gamlingay Clinic:
The Osteopath will call you for a telephone triage conversation before your first post lockdown visit. You may be offered a virtual appointment via Zoom, or if it is clinically appropriate, then you will be offered a face to face appointment at the clinic in Gamlingay. Prior to confirming your face to face appointment, we will screen you for not only symptoms of COVID-19, but also to ensure that you are not within the high risk categories and that you are aware of and happy with the risks of visiting us in the current climate.
We will check your temperature before you enter the clinic. If you temperature is above normal range, you will be asked to return home and not allowed to enter the clinic for the protection of both our Osteopaths and other patients.
There is hand sanitiser available and you will be asked to wash your hands on arrival.
We operate staggered appointments and a strict one in, one out protocol with cleaning and sanitising of the treatment room in between every patient.
There is no waiting area so please arrive promptly for the time of your appointment and wait in your car.
There are no toilet facilities.
Following government guidelines, your Osteopath will wear a mask, disposable apron and gloves for the hands-on component of your treatment.
You will be asked to wear a mask. You may bring your own or we can provide you with one.
If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. new persistent cough, high temperature, loss or change to sense of smell or taste) you must not attend the Clinic.
We understand that things are rather different at the moment in the world, and appreciate that the changes we are making at this time might make the experience different to one you have had in the past with us, but we are doing our best and hope that you appreciate the need for these measures which we are putting in place to keep both you and our therapists safe and well.
