Hannah qualified as an Osteopath 23 years ago and is the founder of Osteopathy First. She undertook Pilates Instructor training in 2004 and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports & Exercise Rehabilitation from the University of Hatfield Physiotherapy Department in 2010. She was selected in 2011 as one of the few Osteopaths to work within the central medical teams at both the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games within the multi-disciplinary Physical Therapies teams.

 

Hannah's personal interests are in lower limb biomechanics and orthotic prescription as well as patients with hypermobility spectrum disorder.  She receives regular referrals from consultants and other practitioners of patients who are unresponsive to standard treatment regimes. Her patient list includes a broad array of individuals from all walks of life. Hannah particularly enjoys treating patients both pre and post operatively, working to help them achieve their goals and return to strength and function. Her special interests lie with treating patients with plantar fasciopathy (fasciits), knee pain and early stage osteoarthritis of the knees and hips in those who are not yet ready for joint replacement; she also has a very personal interest in rehabilitation following ankle fracture and ORIF having recovered exceptionally well herself from this injury and surgery in December 2016. In her spare time, her hobbies include showing dogs, floristry and yoga. She is a member of the British Osteopathic Association and the Osteopathic Sports Care Association.
