Both of our clinics remain OPEN at this time and we are adhering strictly to the advice of our Governing Body, the GOsC, and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE)
We are implementing the following measures to keep you and our Osteopaths safe:
If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. new persistent cough, high temperature, loss or change to sense of smell or taste) you must NOT attend either Clinic.
Prior to each appointment, you will be required to submit a declaration that neither you nor any member of your household have any of the symptoms of COVID-19, that you are not self-isolating, in quarantine following foreign travel, and to ensure that you are aware of and happy with the risks of visiting us in the current climate.
We check your temperature before you enter the clinic.
There is hand sanitiser available and you will be asked to wash your hands on arrival.
We operate a strict cleaning and sanitising protocol of the treatment room in between every patient.
Please arrive promptly for the time of your appointment and do not bring anyone with you unless you specifically wish to have a chaperone.
There are no toilet facilities available at out Gamlingay Clinic.
Following government guidelines, your Osteopath will wear a medical grade mask, disposable apron and gloves. If you are required to give details of your movements after your visit in a 'track and trace' scenario, it is imperative that you DO NOT describe us as a close contact due to our status as healthcare practitioners operating under public health infection control measures including full PPE worn by your Osteopath for the duration of your treatment.
Masks are mandatory for all patients visiting the clinic at all times when on the premises and during your treatment to maintain the safety and wellbeing of other patients and of our Osteopaths. If you are not able to or wish not to wear a mask then we will offer you a virtual consultation instead of a face to face appointment, using Zoom.
We understand that things are rather different at the moment in the world, and appreciate that the changes we are making at this time might make the experience different to one you have had in the past with us, but we are doing our very best and hope that you appreciate the need for these measures which we are putting in place to keep both you and our therapists safe and well. So far, the feedback has been excellent with all patients saying that they have felt extremely safe while in our care.
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
