While the David Lloyd Club Gym remains closed, we are currently unable to work from our Stevenage Clinic base. We are now operating from a small countryside satellite clinic in the village of Gamlingay on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, approximately 20 minutes north of Stevenage.
If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. new persistent cough, high temperature, loss or change to sense of smell or taste) you must not attend the Clinic.
Prior to your first post lockdown visit, your Osteopath will call you for a telephone triage conversation. You may be offered a virtual appointment via Zoom, or if it is clinically appropriate, then you will be offered a face to face appointment at the clinic. Prior to confirming your face to face appointment, we will screen you for not only symptoms of COVID-19, but also to ensure that you are not within the high risk categories and that you are aware of and happy with the risks of visiting us in the current climate.
We check your temperature before you enter the clinic.
There is hand sanitiser available and you will be asked to wash your hands on arrival.
We operate a strict cleaning and sanitising protocol of the treatment room in between every patient.
Please arrive promptly for the time of your appointment and do not bring anyone with you unless you specifically wish to have a chaperone.
There are no toilet facilities.
Following government guidelines, your Osteopath will wear a mask, disposable apron and gloves for the hands-on component of your treatment.
You will be asked to wear a mask. You may bring your own or we can provide you with one.
We understand that things are rather different at the moment in the world, and appreciate that the changes we are making at this time might make the experience different to one you have had in the past with us, but we are doing our best and hope that you appreciate the need for these measures which we are putting in place to keep both you and our therapists safe and well. So far, the feedback has been excellent with all patients saying that they have felt extremely safe in our care.
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
