Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a science-based profession and takes a ‘whole person’ approach to health and wellbeing, which includes the patient’s general lifestyle.

At the core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.

You can benefit from physiotherapy at any time in your life. Physiotherapy helps with back pain or sudden injury, managing long-term medical condition such as asthma, and in preparing for childbirth or a sporting event.  Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.

"I have had excellent treatment, following a number of injuries I have suffered. Each time I have made a full recovery with the help and understanding and expertise with which I was treated. Thank you so much. I have had an ankle injury, a shoulder problem, and a back injury. Each time my injury was assessed and treated til I was satisfied that recovery was complete, with of course the option to return should I have any further problems." Liz, Stevenage.
